Meet the Team


Jim Crotwell

Team Leader

Jim Crotwell originally pursued a career in teaching and coaching after graduating from Chapman University with a Master’s degree in education. However, twelve years later, he transitioned into the real estate industry. Jim began his real estate career as a sales rep for Southland Title company in north Orange County and before leaving in 2008, had built a top producing sales team. From there he served as a sales manager for a real estate brokerage, but when he discovered Keller Williams (Pacific Estates in Long Beach), he joined as a Lead Buyers Agent for the #1 Top Producing Team. 

Within three years of joining Keller Wiliams, Jim was selected as the Team Leader for the Whittier Keller Williams market center. Within four years he had recruited over 200 agents, including six of the top ten agents in the area. All this growth led to the market center being named #1 in the entire area for both market share and total production. 

Soon afterwards another opportunity arose at a different Keller Williams office: the Team Leader role at the Keller Williams - Carlsbad /North County market center. Jim accepted the challenge to create yet again another #1 market center for a region. 

Team Leaders are focused on growing the agent's businesses and their market centers. They coach, consult and train their associates at every level. They set the standards, provide the vision, maintain the culture and inspire achievementJim has come full circle back to teaching and coaching, with no signs of slowing down. 

Wade Blair

Wade Blair

Productivity Coach​

Originally from Texas, Wade Blair, started his real estate career in Dallas in early 2010 bringing with him over 19 years previous sales experienceBy 2013, he was recognized for being a top residential real estate producer in the city. Shortly thereafter, an opportunity presented itself that Wade jumped on – to serve as the Assistant Team Leader of 295 agents at a Keller Williams office in Dallas. 


However, within two years the temptation of helping other agents through coaching coupled with living the Southern California dream, led Wade to relocate and begin serving as the Productivity Coach of the Keller Williams – Carlsbad market center in May of 2015. “My responsibility is coaching the agents that catapults them into production. I get to wake up each day and help my agents build a business and wealth plan to ensure their family is supported through the great times and shifting times in real estate.” 


Wade is now a dual-licensed agent (Texas and California) and continues to keep his hand in the business as a solo agent.  Because Wade has worked with numerous buyers, sellers, short sales, foreclosures, dual contracts, and knows all aspects of the business; his knowledge and experience is priceless to the agents he coaches and trains. 


Julie Hart

Lead Instructor

Julie brings over 16 years of experience facilitating the licensing process for numerous Real Estate Agents and Brokers. “I am passionate about being a reliable resource for students. Seeing a student quickly go into productivity is my reward,” says the Lead Instructor at KW Real Estate Schools, Inc. Her passion, methods and extensive experience have proven to increase the passing rates for students on their first attempt.  


Julie has developed two real estate school and is also the main facilitator of the online "Facebook Forum". 


When not working, snow skiing, scuba diving and traveling keep Julie busy.
